I can’t believe I forgot to post this! I am almost ready for the spring box, and I just noticed this post was still in my drafts. I couldn’t help but laugh! I guess I wasn’t too ecstatic over this box. After much excitement over my first Walmart Beauty Box, I had high hopes for this winter edition. Had.
The Walmart Beauty Box is a once-a-season box that delivers drugstore items Walmart sells. The cost is only $5 per box, per season ($20/year).
Let’s see what’s inside:
Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick – full size!
I like this Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick, but I wish I received a different color. I can’t wear basic brown on my lips because I go from Linda to chola in an instant.
OLAY Fresh Effects Everything Off! Deluxe Makeup Removal Wet Cloths – sample size (7 cloths)
I use the OLAY Fresh Effects Wet Cloths regularly, so I’m happy to receive a sample pack I can put in my travel bag.
L’Oreal OleoTherapy Oil Infused Shampoo – sample size
L’Oreal OleoTherapy Oil Infused Conditioner – sample size
I gave these a try, but they’re not for me. My hair feels more weighed down than normal. This was a bust.
Jergens BB Body Correcting Skin Cream – sample size
This is small enough to keep in my bag, but like shampoos, lotions are a product I never get excited to receive.
Nivea Cocoa Butter Body Lotion – sample packet
And lotion again.
I am not overly thrilled. Yes, this box is only $5 with free shipping. But with the fabulocity of box #1, I was hoping for the same for this box, although many beauty boxes have absolutely amazing first boxes and return with a meh second box.
I’m not going to cancel my subscription, though. It is only $5 and I receive things I can use or give to my sisters. Here’s hoping for the best for the spring box!
