I know I mostly share beauty reviews and finds, but a couple of weeks ago, I had the chance to visit the gorgeously mid-century modern Burton House Palm Springs. Because this house rocks, I have to share it with you!
If you’re looking for a vacation home in the desert area, whether for a weekend trip to Coachella or a week-long fun in the sun getaway, this house is it. This jewel of a home in the desert is what I think of when I think Palm Springs. It has a boomerang shape to the house and pops with 50s & 60s design.
Built in 1958, the Burton House features 4 bedrooms and 3 full size bathrooms. This house is extremely spacious with over 2,300 sq ft of indoor living space and a glorious backyard, complete with a pool and spa to host the perfect summer time pool party. It’s located only minutes from downtown Palm Springs, and is overall just a fun house to stay in.
I don’t have too much knowledge in architectural design [like, none at all], but this home features influences of famed architect Paul R. Williams, who designed homes for Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball, Lon Chaney, and other notable celebs.
I only snapped a few photos at the Burton House, as it was in use at the time, but my photos do not do this home justice. The photos on burtonhousepalmsprings.com really show just how spectacular this vacation spot is.
Look at that little happy pug face! You can find out more about Burton House at burtonhousepalmsprings.com.
