Pictures of my city: Palm Springs

Palm Springs Welcome SignToday is my birthday, and I’m one more year into my thirties. One of the thoughts that keeps swirling around my head is, “I really thought I would have life figured out by now.” Heehee!

Because of my special day, I decided I would do a non-beauty post today and share some pics of my hometown. Although I do split my time between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, PS is where I was born and raised.

None of these pictures are crazy or showcase Coachella (the concert, not the city), the White Party, biker weekend or Stagecoach festival, but they are little bits and pieces of places I visit and my life.

I’ll be adding more as I go, so expect more photos of this great area soon. Many of these photos are in surrounding areas of Palm Springs – also know as the Coachella Valley – but usually visitors call everything “Palm Springs.”

I’m apologizing in advance for the crap quality – most of these I took from the car driving by! =) And please remember – I really need to take some photography classes. Eek! All the photos on this post were taken by me.

  1. You captured it PERFECTLY! Thank you for this…Even though I am always back & forth, when I’m not there, I miss it so much (except in Summertime :P)

Ugh, yep. Summertime is brutal. But when it’s not a thousand degrees, it’s gorgeous. 🙂
