To say that I like Napoleon Perdis products is saying it lightly. I recently took a trip to Napoleon Perdis Concept Store in Hollywood and picked up some brand new goodies to try, one of which I fell deeply in love with: Copper Element Loose Eye Dust.
Loose Eye Dusts are highly pigmented eyeshadows that come in an array of about 24 shades. Copper Element is a beautiful metallic and shimmery copper, which goes great with my warm complexion. When the light hits this eyeshadow just right, it sparkles and glows.
I love loose eyeshadows, but I don’t like the mess they can make, which is why I usually never purchase them unless they are absolutely gorgeous. Loose Eye Dust canisters have a unique sifter that dispenses enough eye makeup for one eye at a time. Close the jar, give it a shake, open it back up and more product is dispensed. It reduces possible spill and over pour. I do find that two clicks are not enough for my eyes, so I usually do three.
This pretty bronze-copper color looks best when applied over primer, and gives your eyes a big POW when applied wet. I have better results and less fallout when I pat this color on instead of sweeping it over my lid.
Although I’m not crazy about spending $25 on a loose eyeshadow, there are a couple other colors I plan to pick up next time I’m in Hollywood. Somebody stop me!!
What do you think of this shade? Would you wear it?
