I’m on the hunt to find a nice BB cream with great coverage that I can easily find in store in the US. I’ve tried BB creams from Nyx, Physician’s Formula, Studio Gear and a couple other brands, but none met, much less surpassed, my expectations. Still, I keep hunting.
At the Napoleon Perdis Masters of Trend event earlier this year, I picked up Auto Pilot BBB Cream in medium/dark because I loved the way it felt on my hand. I finally got around to trying it this week and oh-my-goodness – it is amazing!
Auto Pilot BBB Cream is a mix of HD foundation, anti-aging moisturizer and sunscreen. It has just a hint of illuminating pearl to diffuse the imperfections on your skin and give you a light glow, without making you look sparkly. It’s very creamy, but lightweight.
My skin just soaked it up and felt like I had nothing on, and I could see many of my dark spots faded with the BBB cream coverage. It left my skin with a semi-matte, dewy finish.
It’s definitely a light coverage foundation, but you can layer it to get a fuller coverage. Or wear it under your normal foundation for a perfect finish and SPF protection.
There are so many days when I want to wear something low maintenance, especially in the summer. This covers enough so I’m confident enough to walk out of the house and not have to cover my face with huge sunglasses, but light enough so my face feels fresh.
I finally found the perfect BB cream for me. After spending countless dollars on BB creams I was unsatisfied with, I can deal with the $45 price tag for a product I’m over the moon about.
