Let me start by saying although I did receive these 3 eyeliners for being a finalist in Refinery29’s Lancome Artliner contest, my review is my own opinion. It is not altered because I received these for free.
Now that that’s out of the way, these liners are AMAZING!
They are very long-wearing – once they’re on, they’re on. There is no smudging, streaking or fading. They have a foam-tip applicator, which helps to create precise lines.
I wore these eyeliners for hours without ever needing to touch up. I went through a long day of work, watery eyes, then dinner and a movie and my eyeliner still looked great each time I looked in the mirror to touch up my oily face.
To remove, I just used a regular makeup wipe and the eyeliner flaked right off.
My favorite of the 3 is Jade – it looks more pewter than green in person, but Copper is a close second for my tan skin. I truly love these eyeliners and really want to get my hands on more colors, like Amethyst and Sapphire. They’re such pretty colors!
Here are all the eye looks I created and submitted to Refinery29 for the contest:
This was the eye look that was chosen to compete. I love double & triple lines.
Same look as above with matching bottom eyeliner.
Basic gradient line
Yes – this look was inspired by the amazing Megan Martinez. She’s friggin awesome.
I thought it would be fun to use pink eyeshadow with a copper liner.
This was a just because – more of a fun Aztec-inspired look.
