If you’re looking for super-saturated, vivid colors with a strong, glossy effect, LA Girl’s Glazed Lip Paint fills that need. These colors are gorgeous!
Glazed Lip Paints are a mix between highly pigmented lipsticks and super slick lipglosses. They are very opaque, ultra-rich and anything but plain.
They come in 6 colors, all of which make an impact. The $4 price tag makes an even bigger impact! For that price, I ordered them all.
Glazed Lip Paints are long-lasting and incredibly moisturizing. The vitamin E and peppermint oil feels fantastic. They have a slight minty scent due to the peppermint oil, but that fades off within minutes. These are best applied with a lip brush.
The first time trying Glazed Lip Paint, I wore it for several hours before the color started to fade from the center of my lips. But I just pressed my lips together and it looked almost as if I reapplied it. I didn’t need to apply any additional color and it wore for a couple more hours looking cute and shiny (the gloss – not my face!).
Even though these are long-lasting, expect the color to attach itself to your cup, super long bangs or whatever else your lips touch. The high gloss look is pretty and not sticky, but does transfer easily.
I’m in love with these and am so glad I purchased them all. I’ve been on a matte train lately, so it’s nice to wear something glossy and moisturizing.
I read several blogs comparing this to Too Faced’s Melted Lipsticks, and others saying they were completely different. I went out and purchased 3 Too Faced lippies to compare myself. Stay tuned for that!
