I picked up this little beauty during Sephora’s 20% off Friends & Family sale, and after trying this one, I need to go buy the rest in the collection.
Shade Shifter Eyeshadow is a multi-dimensional eyeshadow that has a pretty chameleon quality to it. It looks like a variety of colors from different angles. It’s a fun eyeshadow to wear outside or in a room with a lot of light. The light will show off the fun multitude of colors in the eyeshadow.
Shade Shifter Eyeshadow goes on very smooth and blends easily. You can apply this eyeshadow dry for a nice light wash of glimmer or wet for a dramatically intense look. Either way, it looks amazing.
I can’t wear too much makeup to work. There are days when I go with out any eye makeup at all, but I usually try to at least apply eyeliner and mascara. This eyeshadow applied dry just on the lid looks super pretty and is perfect for my work day. In this case, I blended it out above the crease:
I applied brown liner and a coat of mascara, and then headed off to work. (Whoopsie! I need to tweeze my brows.) For an evening out, I would definitely apply this shadow wet to get a more extreme, dramatic look.
I plan on picking up Devotion/Copper on my next order.
