It’s almost that time of year again when beauty industry pros gather together in Las Vegas for an exclusive business-to-business beauty trade show.
Cosmoprof North America is a trade show for beauty industry professionals ONLY. This event is not open to the general public. The event is focused in particular on the distributors, OTC’s, manufacturers and buyers of professional beauty products and retail stores.
Brands, retailers, distributors, producers, press and pros from all over the globe gather together to learn more about product lines, ideas, manufacturing, and so much more. Cosmoprof North America [CPNA] is HUGE. Over 1000 exhibitors from 39 countries fill the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
This will be my second time attending and I am just as giddy as the first!
CPNA is comprised of 3 show floors:
- COSMETICS & PERSONAL CARE PAVILION – dedicated to the retail channels of the cosmetics industry including all skin, hair, nail, and tools for retail. For companies that have products more heavily geared towards consumers rather than professionals. Products sold to the general public via websites, beauty supply stores, department stores, drug stores, etc.
- PACKAGING & CONTRACT MFG PAVILION – dedicated to the entire beauty industry production supply chain from raw materials to machinery, formulation to packaging, including contract manufacturing, private label, and business tools and POS systems.
- PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY – dedicated to the professional channels of the cosmetics industry including all skin, hair, nail, and tools/services for professional use in salons or spas. For companies that have products and services that are heavily geared towards being sold to licensed professionals AND/OR to be used in a salon or spa setting and/or mainly sold by distributors.
There are also special areas like BOUTIQUE where you can curate your own beauty box, Tones of Beauty which showcases products for WOC, and Glamour Me, a first-of-its-kind beauty studio where you have the ability to try on and experience cosmetic products first hand.
And we can’t forget the after parties! There are many private events and get-togethers held each night. I’m planning on attending two myself, but I wish I had time to attend more.
I’ll be on social media during CPNA July 24th – 26th, so catch me on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter:
