Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster – First Impression

Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster ftc-press-button

I have super oily skin, and as I’m getting deeper into my 30s, I can see my face starting to change. Sad face. I was a bit hesitant to try Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster because it is meant to intensely moisturize skin, but since I have never used a bad Dermalogica product and I’ll give anything a whirl that claims to smooth fine lines, I just dove right in on trying it.

Skin Hydrating Booster is a clear serum that works with all skin conditions and restores moisture balance while minimizing fine lines. It revitalizes dry skin and improves elasticity with its blend of Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol, Glycolipids and Algae Extract.

Following the directions, I placed a small amount in my hands and lightly rubbed it all over my face and neck after cleansing. I let it soak in for a few minutes before applying my regular skincare. Immediately, my skin felt more hydrated, and it did not leave a greasy residue.

I kept checking my face throughout the day for adverse reactions – mega oiliness, redness, etc – but my skin had no negative reaction to it and still hasn’t had one to this day. I really expected my face to have an insane amount of extra slick, but my skin acted its regular-oily self – no excess.

I’ve been using this for almost 2 weeks, and although I can’t give a statement on positive long-term effects of this product, for the short-term it’s been fantastic. My skin feels renewed when using this, and I could swear the fine lines that are starting to creep out look slightly minimalized.

I’m going to continue to use this until I run out and will give you and updated review. So far so good, which makes me very excited.
