When I purchased my Kat Von D Eye Contour Palette from Sephora.com, I went through the available deluxe samples for $25+ orders and selected Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb moisturizer. The name itself was enough to call to me, but the description was even more intriguing.
A gel-cream that ‘floods’ the skin with a rush of refreshing hydration and minimizes the appearance of pores for soft, smooth, supple skin for normal to combination skin types, including oily skin, and dry skin types looking for a lightweight moisturizer.
Belif is a Korean brand new to Sephora that prides itself on using superior and efficient ingredients in all of its products.
Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb moisturizer is amazingly lightweight. It absorbed quickly into my oily skin, leaving my face hydrated, but not oily, greasy or heavy. It feels like it’s packed with moisture, but airy at the same time.
My face felt refreshed, like my skin was naturally supple.
The scent is great, too. It’s a nice, soft scent – a little sweetness mixed with a faint citrus. It’s very minimal and hardly noticeable.
I can’t speak about any long-term effects, if any, since I’ve only been using this for a few days, but this moisturizer contains anti-oxidants and is supposed to improve skin elasticity. I always use this moisturizer over my anti-aging serum, whether am or pm. It works great over a serum, too!
I don’t feel this would provide enough hydration for dry skin, so if you’re looking for something more nourishing for dryer skin, Belif also has a Moisturizing Bomb cream that sounds promising.
