When it comes to my own eye makeup, I’m relatively easy. I always use liner and mascara, but I’ve never been the type of person to pack on tons of eyeshadow. I love all the amazing Instagram eye looks and wish I could apply 7 different colors to have it turn out as amazing as them, but that’s not me. I can use 4-5 colors, but for the most part, give me 3 colors and I’m good. If I apply only one or 2 shades and it looks fine, then I’m ecstatic!
Bare Minerals High Shine Eyecolor in Moonshine is a color I’m over the moon for. High Shine Eyecolor is an incredibly pigmented loose eyeshadow with lots of metallic sheen. This vibrant shadow is super smooth and slightly creamy. It comes in a little jar with a sponge tip applicator that just glides over your eyelid.
Moonshine is a purple-silver color with plenty of shine and a slight foiled effect.
This color is simply gorgeous. I love wearing purple eyeshadow, and currently this is the queen of all my purples right now. It’s packed with shimmer and the opaque, metallic gleam gives this eyeshadow a 3rd dimensional look.
I’m not a fan of sponge tip applicators, but I am so glad this has one. It makes it exceptionally easy to apply onto my eyelid without much fallout. Once I sweep the sponge applicator over my lid, I use my blending brush to lightly blend this eyeshadow out. Honestly, this one color is all you need for beautiful eyeshadow. It blends out well, dazzles and looks gorgeous all on its own.
For my EOTD, I added a neutral matte shadow under my brow and above my crease to blend out Moonshine, and placed a shimmery pinkish color in the inner corner of my eye. I love how simple, yet stunning Moonshine appears.
